3.5kw Hisense X3 Series Wall-Mounted Split System

RCD Electrical supplies and installs the 3.5kW Hisense X3 Series wall-mounted split system (model HAWJ12KR) across Perth's southern suburbs. Hisense rates it at 3.5kW cooling and 3.8kW heating on R32 refrigerant, with Wi-Fi control through the ConnectLife app and a warranty of up to 7 years when registered with Hisense.

ALL DC INVERTER EFFICIENCY

The X3 runs a DC compressor with DC indoor and outdoor fan motors and an electronic expansion valve. Hisense states its 3D Inverter improves energy efficiency by up to 25 per cent. Smart Mode adjusts heating and cooling to the room temperature, and Away Mode holds the room at a steady 8°C while nobody is home.

MADE FOR SALT AIR AND WEATHER

The outdoor unit carries Hisense's Anti-Corrosion Golden Fin, built to resist salty air, rain and other corrosive elements. Its electrical components sit behind a sealed Insect Prevention PCB, which reduces the risk of circuit board failure from short circuits or corrosion.

CLEANER AIR, LESS UPKEEP

The silver ion filter is an antibacterial filter that Hisense fits to keep the air free of bacteria and impurities. Self-Cleaning runs a frost and defrost cycle to keep the evaporator clean, and Anti Mould keeps the indoor fan running for 30 seconds after switch off so the evaporator and indoor parts dry out, helping prevent mould and mildew.

EVEN, COMFORTABLE AIRFLOW

4D Auto Swing drives the horizontal and vertical deflectors with independent motors for even room temperature. Anti-Cold Air stops cold air blowing when heating starts, and I Feel reads the temperature at the remote's location and fine-tunes the room to suit. Hisense designs the X3 Series for single rooms and smaller spaces.

CONNECTLIFE APP: CONTROL FROM ANYWHERE

The Hisense ConnectLife app controls the X3 over Wi-Fi. It sets geofencing, Self-Cleaning and timers, monitors the unit's performance and energy consumption, and manages other Hisense appliances from the same app.

VOICE CONTROL: ALEXA AND GOOGLE HOME

Once the X3 is connected to Wi-Fi, it responds to voice commands through Amazon Alexa or Google Home speakers.

REMOTE CONTROLLER AND TIMERS

Hisense lists the R2-01 remote controller for this range: a 2.1 inch screen on two AAA batteries, carrying I Feel, Smart Mode and Self Clean. Unlimited daily timers set the mode, temperature and fan speed with a start and end date.

SAFETY AND BUILDING CONTROL

The indoor PCB has an input port for a room card or smoke sensor. With the fire control connected, the unit switches off automatically when the smoke alarm activates. Central Control is available with Hisense's central controller and communication box.
